Airport Tycoon 2 Walkthrough

This walkthrough follows official badges on universe 10241000620. It is the closest thing to a 100% list the developers published. A compact table with live win rates sits on the badges page. Watch the embedded completion video for pacing, then use the order below so you do not chase Ultimate Airport before you own a second scanner.

Act 1 — Open the airport

Takeoff! Complete your first flight. You need a working scan → seat → plane chain. Follow Getting Started.

Upgrades, People! Buy any category upgrade. Put it on throughput or an amenity, not a statue.

Snack Tax. First amenity. If the button is a vending machine, take it. Details on the amenity tier list.

Line Buster. Second security lane. This is the first “you are actually playing the game” badge.

Where To Next? First destination. Ticket pick chance starts here.

Room for More. First expansion. Update 5: expansions no longer require Star Tokens. Pay cash, get floor.

100% Completing Roblox AIRPORT TYCOON

Act 2 — Make it a hub

VIP Passenger. First Legendary visit. Stack luck (Premium/Plus, rebirth later, Store luck if you pay). Amenities that hold guests help.

Frequent Flyer. 25 flights. Do not force this with a broken queue. Let destinations and a modest plane work.

You’ve Been Around. 100 flights. This is a time badge. Offline earnings help if the airport can run without you. Use the income checklist.

At this point the terminal should look like the official art: multiple gates, a statement fountain, luggage belts, a ridiculous food statue. If it still looks like a closet, expand before you shop jets.

Act 3 — Complete or reset

You now choose a fork.

Fork A — Terminally Successful. “You’ve completed the tycoon.” About a third of players historically. Finish the remaining cash unlocks, including late expansions and the last destination. This is the walkthrough “beat the layout” ending.

Fork B — First Rebirth. Spend the commonly reported 150k, take the luck bump, rebuild. The rebirth guide is the manual. You can still complete a later layout for Terminally Successful; some players rebirth first and complete faster with luck.

Perfectionist. Max every upgrade category. About 9%. Do this on a layout you like, because you will stare at it.

Ultimate Airport. Max every rebirth token upgrade. About 0.1%. This is the real 100%. Token income needs many loops plus any 2x token offers you actually want to buy.

Co-op overlay

If you are on an Update 6 co-op save, run Act 1 together in one sitting so both of you own the muscle memory. Split Act 2 across nights using offline earnings. Do not let one partner secretly rebirth during Act 3.

The co-op leaderboard is optional. Badges are per-account where Roblox awards them; the save file is shared. If a badge does not pop, hop a solo file and reproduce the action, then return.

Event overlay — World 2

The calendar event MASSIVE UPDATE: WORLD 2 advertised a winter airport. Treat new biomes as extra destinations and amenities, not a wipe of this badge list. If a winter-only badge appears, it will be added under World 2. Do not skip Line Buster because snow looks pretty.

Suggested spend spine

1. Security and seating so people exist.
2. Fountain / restaurant so they stay.
3. Destinations with real pick chance and ticket value.
4. Bigger planes when the curb is full.
5. Rebirth when luck is the bottleneck.
6. Token tree for Ultimate Airport.
